We have reached the final chapters of Exodus! Moses is leaving behind a legacy of law and obedience; his life represents sacrifice in service to God and a commitment to the rhythms and ways of God’s people. While his life is exemplary in many ways, he ultimately points us forward to the saving work of Jesus Christ. Tonight we take comfort in remembering the faithfulness of Jesus, that he has done the work of fulfilling every command given to Moses on our behalf. He is our assurance, our peace, and our clarity in all that we face.
