After a tip from a friend we decided to scrounge around for fun and unusual places to hold events and music festivals. It gave us the chance to talk about the event industry, something we love and are passionate about, with a unique spin. On top of that we tell a few stories of our own and Ryan comes up with one of our best movie pitches yet.
There's a lot of hype every year surrounding Discovery Channel's Shark Week. If you're wondering why everyone seems so interested in sharks, well we don't have an answer for that. What we do know is people from all walks of life can't get enough of these apex predators of the deep. Its time to get sharky. Just remember, "The only thing we have to fear...is fear itself"...also sharks.
We create pure cinema gold with a tabletop game we've never played before, Pitchstorm. COWVID 19? Zombie Bears? Find out what happens when an executive is stuck in an elevator with us for a day.
Rain may not seem mysterious but if you enjoy weird topics as much as we do, you will be pleasantly surprised. In this Mentionable Mystery we explore strange rain phenomena with childlike fascination and we make it rain…dogs and cats?
This week we invite yet another close friend to the Podcast. Our first guest from the west coast. An extremely talented individual endorsed by Hendrix Drums. Percussion extraordinaire Cyrus Zerbe. Zerbe is currently a member of bands Monitor and Brian James and the Great Unknown. We discuss Monitor’s recent album release Morning Song. Of course Ryan seizes the opportunity to reminisce about scandalous slurpee ventures and ham sammies.
Its Ryans birthday episode! Chock full of trivia and birthday shenanigans. His birthday wish? To be the peanut gallery. We ask some hard hitting questions. Like what's a birthday? Why do we birthday? Who's birthday? Make sure you catch the exciting conclusion, "Deep Thoughts On Birthdays With Josh."
This week we don't talk about ouija boards. Curiosity got the better of us. We're taking a look at the origins of board games or, more specifically, Table Top games. You may be as surprised as we were to learn how old and integral to human history board games are and that a Go Board is, in fact, not a motorized skateboard. But, again, we will not be talking about Ouija Boards. Ouija Boards suck.
We're putting some ridiculous technologies and inventions under the Not To Mention Microscope. Is it fine as is? Can it be improved? Is it unworthy of our love and attention doomed to only ever see the inside of a landfill? Four words. Technologically Advanced Pet Rock. You're not gonna want to miss this one.
A Mentionable Mystery focusing on cryptozoology. Buff otters, Pious fish, Germanic jackalopes and more! The cherry on top? A special guest/co-host with their very own Bigfoot encounter!
