  • MOC 5: Leyla Hoyle Guerrero-The Bilingual Voice of Worship
Notes From Her's season 1-episode 6 features MOC Leyla Hoyle Guerrero. Leyla is a reputable and prolific studio recording artist in the Spanish and English music industry. She is also a worship leader at Shepherd Church Woodland Hills location. Listen to this episode to hear Leyla share her story of her life from Peru to the United States, her career, and her walk with God. She gives advice on networking in the studio recording industry, professionalism, maintaining your identity and morals in and outside of the church walls, worship leadership/ministry, the significance of being a Latina worship leader in an English speaking mega-church and how to use your God given talents to serve others. After listening to this episode, I invite you to ask yourself: what is your God given purpose in this life? And here’s the secret, it’s not just one purpose or calling, it can be a few or multiple! The way you can begin exploring this is asking yourself a few questions: What do I like or love? What do I not like? What am I passionate about? What makes me happy? What makes me upset or sad? Who inspires me? What are the things I am good at, gifts that I have, or things I enjoy doing? How can I use my talents to serve others? Don’t worry if you can’t answer all of these questions right away. Sometimes realizing these things and what value you possess takes some time to realize. I encourage to pray and meditate on these questions.Follow Notes From Her @notesfromher_ on Instagram and Twitter and like Notes From Her on Facebook!
