September 28, 2022 EP #129 - Prison Cast, Kyle Goes Home, And Frozen
Normally Notes From The Pen episodes have a 2 week lag, but because Bobby wants Kyle to be able to listen to this the day after he's released (which is tomorrow) we're publishing it now. Co-host JD is back! In this episode: Dating is a lot like finding the right homie, Bobby gives us the run down on prison group categories, and Bobby records a message for Kyle because he doesn't want to write a letter. September 19, 2022 Bonus - Time Loop And Synchronicity; Notes From The Vault
Time Loop, starting out, and synchronicity are the topics as we share how it all started as we look back at our first recorded prison phone call.
Hard to believe that it's been 4 years since we started recording our calls. What started out as an audio diary has resulted in a successful podcast (thanks to all our pebbles). As I listen back on our first call I can't help but think how far Bobby has come and all the hard work he put in.

August 15, 2022 EP #126 - A Ladies Man And Deep Depression
America's favorite convict, Bobby, is back. We celebrate his birthday, his junk endowment, and the dark place Bobby's been in these past few weeks. They were really hard because he's been struggling with depression. Mama C would rather hide her feelings but that's not what this podcast is about. It's about sharing what life behind bars is truly like...warts and all...depression and all. The struggle is real and it still happens, but the fog is lifting from Bobby. Oh, and stay tuned for a post show clip aka the Fuck-it meter. August 08, 2022 EP #125 - Giuseppe
Mama C is co-hosting with America's favorite convict - Bobby.
Turns out covid isn't done with the prison system just yet, mama c has passed the menopause phase and entered the world of testosterone, and a topic that hits a little close to Bobby and Mama C...and in usual Bobby fashion he turns to humor to lighten the mood.

August 01, 2022 Bonus - Commutation Efforts 2022
Bobby's prison is on full lock down due to Covid (again), so phone calls are extremely hard right now. This week's episode is one which was created for everyone involved with the commutation process (minus the welcome to Bitch intro), for those who helped us with support letters...or anyone who has a loved one locked up. We'd like to thank all of you who've joined our Patreon page, it has made such a positive impact with Bobby's time behind bars. We love you guys.

About Notes From The Pen

From the publisher's feed

A pebble in the shoe of the Prison Industrial Complex. Notes From The Pen is a modern portrait of American incarceration told, in real time, through a series of fifteen-minute phone calls between two special degenerates on opposite sides of a prison wall.
