Nothing But Static

This week Dan and Chris take another break from their normal structure to continue their season-by-season retrospective of Lost. In this episode, we're taking a look at Season Three, then spend way too much time having a conversation they should have had after the podcast. Regular service will resume next episode.

This week Dan and Chris discuss the State of Streaming. Are Netflix over extending? Are Disney+ too focused on existing IP? And why in the world are Peacock already trying to offload their service on one of the big boys? Is streaming as we know it untenable? Listen as we attempt to make sense of it all.

This week Dan and Chris tackle some TV News before reviewing Rings of Power, House of the Dragon and She-Hulk!

In this Bonus episode, Dan and Chris discuss all the latest news from D23. Was it disappointing? Are the Thunderbolts a boring team? What happened with the Fantastic 4 casting? All this and more in this Ramblougue.

This week Dan and Chris recorded just before D23 so instead we talk about other news before reviewing some shows we missed over the last year or so in; The Baby, The Bear and Derry Girls.

This week Dan and Chris try to make sense of what in the world is happening over at Warner Bros Discovery. And having failed to understand the choices; they are forced to move on to reviewing some little known shows that returned recently. Spoiler-y reviews for Stranger Things, The Boys and Westworld. In that order.

This week Dan and Chris get very distracted to start with as Dan recounts his experience with a forest fire in Spain. But at around 24 minutes we actually begin to discuss TV, with some general news and Comic Con talk. Then we review Man Vs. Bee, The Undeclared War, Loot, Ms Marvel and FINALLY we review Obi-Wan Kenobi.

This week Dan and Chris review four returning animated shows from last year in order to decide which deserves our belated 2022 Best Animated Show award. We review last years seasons of The Owl House, Love Death and Robots, Undone and Kid Cosmic.

To celebrate 10 years of this podcast, it's time for our Eleventh Annual Static Awards, our fictional TV awards show which is really just a poor excuse to recap the year in TV. We both nominate shows for each award and debate who should win on the show.
