Once our heroes completed their search of the mouse proper, escaping with the last surviving members of staff or family of the Hambley's Farmhouse, and as the house starts to burn down, the mighty adventurers tend to the wounds of the survivors.  During the conversation, it is discovered that there may be more survivors in the barn, and that is where the attention of our heroes is drawn.  Will they discover more survivors, or something more dangerous, and gruesome?

Now with a substantial lead on where the source of the outbreak of undead is coming from, and as well the messages and notes discovered for Benji, telling him about "His Lordship", the group heads to Hambley's Farmhouse.  They start to discover some gruesome sites, and come to realize that most of the workers, and family have succumb to horror, and most did not survive.  They finally make it to the house, where they lived, and in a group dispute looms about how to deal with the evil.  Some wish to engulf the house in purifying flame, others wish to search the house for clues, and potential survivors.  Stay tunes to find out what happens on this episode of the Sandpoint Shakers!

In the midst of their investigation, the party stumbles across a pair of guards who had a run-in with a man acting very strangely, whom they escorted to the local doctor who specializes in weird patients.  Upon meeting with this doctor, and speaking to this patient, it is discovered that the patient is in the final stages of transforming into a Ghoul, and he may have bit some of the guards who tried to help capture him.  There were also other revelations that are discovered, and the party may be too late.

We meet our party one day after the day of the church explosion, and they are quickly trying to find the cause, and the culprit of the murders not only at the church, but at the sawmill.  They start to piece together the facts,which lead to more undead, and some crazy people.  The party seems to be finding more questions than answers at this point, but they are finding that all this unusual behavior and events might be connected in some weird way.

At the end of the downtime, the party awakes with a horrifying noise.  The church, the focal point of the entire town, EXPLODES!  While the party rush in to help, more information starts pouring in about murders that have taken place, and its now a mad dash to track down and find the culprits, while trying to maintain some semblance of order in the town.  Shayliss has also been affected, since during this catastrophe, she has lost someone close to her, and instead of mourning, she seeks revenge.
