In this episode I’m reflecting on how strange and important validation is, and how good it feels when it comes unexpectedly.
Validation can feel incredibly grounding, whether it’s celebrating something good or acknowledging something hard. Even if we don’t want to rely on others’ approval, genuine validation helps us feel more connected and supported, and it can be offered in simple, loving ways.
I share how this shows up in my creative work, where presence and intention can help people see themselves more clearly, and how hard it can be to get out of our heads and into our bodies.
I also talk about practicing validation in everyday moments, through small compliments, kindness, and “holding space” for what someone is experiencing because it costs nothing and can truly change someone’s day.
Take a listen and let's get noticing together.
