Notnerd Podcast: Tech Better

Due to Nate's Walking Dead induced absentmindedness in the last episode, he has some more spring cleaning resources. Then after some other follow-up and Amazon heavy news we get into something near and dear to everyone's heart - smart phone battery life. We have some tips, tricks and strong suggestions (Insert 10 minute Reddit rabbit hole here) to keep your device's battery happy.

Nate starts of describing his first "official" competitive video gaming experience. Then while discussing some follow up and news we get into the hopefully fading fad of April Fools' pranks on the internet.

Next we dive into the topic of Spring Cleaning and the many different ways to get rid of your stuff, from junk to priceless treasures. If you have some great solutions or questions on Spring Cleaning, let us know. We end with Nate's deep discussion that started with the quote "I spend a lot of time thinking about time."

The podcast starts off looking at some stories from the tech world, from struggling companies to oversensitivity.

Nate and Dave then get into how much we love helping our families, and you, with tech. Then a little shaming because we know some 92 year olds that are "teching" better than you.

We tease next weeks Spring Cleaning topic and discuss some of Nate's finds while cleaning his "office."

On the heels of the Apple Special Event episode, Nate and Dave get back to the rest of the news. After giving some shout outs, Nate threatens to "fire" Dave for his lack of Facebooking. Then Dave threatens to fire Facebook for trying to get his phone number.

What should you do before and after your smart phone is lost or stolen? Have a good backup, a good pin (Low 5 segment on pins) and hope for the best.

We wrap up the episode with an Amazon Prime Pick of the Week and Nate says he is going to do his best to avoid the Apple vs. FBI story next episode.
