“Super Freaky Girl” — debuts at No. 1 this week as both the most-streamed and highest-selling song in the country this week. Not only does it mark Minaj’s first totally solo No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, but it’s the first song to debut at No. 1 by any unaccompanied female rapper since Lauryn Hill’s “Doo-Wop (That Thing!)” back in 1998.

According to Billboard, Minaj's single has 89,000 digital downloads so far, marking the biggest digital sales week of any track this year.

"Super Freaky Girl" will be on Minaj's 5th full-length album. No date for its release, but it is expected to drop soon.

Kodak Black and Pooh Shiesty were briefly entangled in a back-and-forth social media feud, with the Memphis rapper seemingly taking offense after Kodak took credit for the recent money-spreading trend in pictures. In a video posted online, Kodak appeared to call out Lil Baby, checking him for his lyrics in "Finesse Out The Gang Way" where he says he "invented" showing money on the 'Gram. Pooh went back over a decade to show that he's been spreading his money on his arms and legs since long before Kodak was even in the rap game, which prompted heated comments on both sides. Lil Baby had been keeping quiet on the issue though.

Despite his initial silence on the matter, Lil Baby appears to finally be responding to Kodak calling him out, sub-tweeting somebody and asking them to quit sneak-dissing him online.

"Don’t sneak diss on the internet call me," wrote Baby on Twitter on Thursday morning. While the Atlanta rapper doesn't mention anybody in particular, the post was shared on multiple blog sites on Instagram, where commenters have been theorizing that this is meant for Kodak Black.

Ari Lennox and Summer Walker protect their energy on new collaboration “Queen Space.” In preparation for Lennox’s sophomore album age/sex/location, on Wednesday (August 31), the R&B vocalist unveiled her latest single, following “Pressure” and “Hoodie.”

Ahead of dropping “Queen Space,” Lennox posted a video of J. Cole in the studio with Lennox and producer Elite, originally shared by Dreamville Records co-founder and J. Cole’s manager Ib Hamad.

Pi’erre Bourne has shared the title track of his forthcoming album Good Movie. The album doesn't currently have a release date but is described as "coming very soon" in a press release.

Rihanna will take center stage at State Farm Stadium for the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023, in Glendale, Arizona.

The Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show telecast will be produced by DPS with Roc Nation and Jesse Collins serving as executive producers, and Hamish Hamilton serving as director.

"Rihanna is a generational talent, a woman of humble beginnings who has surpassed expectations at every turn. A person born on the small island of Barbados who became one of the most prominent artists ever. Self-made in business and entertainment," said Shawn "JAY-Z" Carter.

Legendary rapper Jay-Z was one of the many artists who made a guest appearance on DJ Khaled’s 2022 album God Did. Jay-Z is one of the featured artists on the title track, which clocks in at over eight minutes. When it came time for Hov to record his verse, he was in and out of the studio after just one take.

On August 26, DJ Khaled released his thirteenth studio LP via We The Best Music Group/Epic Records. God Did arrived with numerous special guest features.

Contributions by acts such as Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Drake, Kanye West, and Eminem likely helped DJ Khaled pull in substantial streams for the God Did album. HitsDailyDouble reported the project’s predicted sales numbers.

According to the outlet, DJ Khaled’s God Did is on pace to rack up 105,00-115,000 first-week units. That range should be enough to give the New Orleans-born deejay/producer his fourth #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart.

Previously, Khaled scored Number Ones with 2016’s Major Key, 2017’s Grateful, and 2021’s Khaled Khaled. Grateful spent two weeks in the top spot. Nine of his releases reached the Top 10 of the weekly album rankings.

After an eight-month wait since the game's original announcement, fans are finally given a release date for SEGA's Sonic Frontiers. Now scheduled for launch in November, the company dropped a new story trailer during Gamescom offering players a first look at what the game's plot would entail.

A lot of its context and premise have been kept under wraps for now in light of the animated prologue with Knuckles, but we do get an introduction of some of Sonic's main foes in the new open-world experience as well as a glimpse of his mission, which seems to be saving his captured friends, including Amy Rose. Aside from a closer look at the story, the trailer also showcases a few clips of its gameplay, and it's very much what you'd expect from a 3D Sonic the Hedgehog game. Aside from exploring a vast open world at super speed, there'll also be nods to previous installments via 2D platforming and grind rails making a comeback. Iconic locations like Green Hill Zone and Sky Sanctuary will also be available.

For the Sonic fans out there, Sonic Frontiers will arrive on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC November 8.
