EST Gee is showing no signs of taking his foot off of the gas. After an active year of releases and features, the Louisville rapper is ready to share his next album with the world this coming Friday (September 16). I Never Felt Nun clocks in at 21 songs total and includes features from major artists such as Jack Harlow, Bryson Tiller, Future, Jeezy, and MGK.

It is worth noting that I Never Felt Nun continues a series of projects for the 28-year-old that began in March 2020 with Ion Feel Nun. Gee followed that up in December of that same year with I Still Dont Feel Nun before taking things in a different direction. In 2021, he shared Bigger Than Life Or Death, Bigger Than Life Or Death Part 2 , and then a deluxe version of its original iteration. This year, he partnered up with his labelmate 42 Dugg for Last Ones Left before the duo joined their label CMG for the compilation album Gangsta Art.

I Never Felt Nun is led by the singles “Blood,” “Love Is Blind,” “Hell,” and, most recently, “Shoot It Myself” featuring Future. With a strong backing and a lot of momentum, I Never Felt Nun could very well serve as the nitrous oxide to push his lyrical vehicle to even higher heights.

Kodak Black drops a dual release with his latest singles “Walk” and “Spin”.

On the mid-temp “Walk”, the Pompano Beach rapper struts with swag with his braggadocious bars. Meanwhile over on the B-side, the slow-grooving “Spin” finds Kodak two-stepping to the flow and commandeering others hit the dance floor.

Nav has returned with his new album Demons Protected by Angels, which comes loaded with appearances from Lil Baby. Travis Scott, Lil Durk, Gunna, Future, Bryson Tiller, Don Toliver, Realest K, and Babyface Ray. Lil Uzi Vert shows up twice, on “Dead Shot” and “Interstellar.”

Featuring striking cover art by NYC-based, German-born artist Erik Parker, Demons serves as the XO signee’s first project since 2020’s Emergency Tsunami, which debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200. Nav announced the new 19-track album on Twitter in June, and in the months since has rolled out the singles “Never Sleep” with Travis and Baby, and “Wrong Decisions.”

After dropping off a music video for the latter, the Good Intentions polymath sat down for an interview with Complex to discuss Demons Protected by Angels and said he learned a lot about himself both musically and otherwise while trapped inside his home during quarantine.

At least somewhere between 20-30 staff members were laid off at G4TV today, according to three sources familiar with the business. The video game talk show network from the 2000s was resurrected last fall on streaming platforms like Twitch as well as cable TV, but now faces major upheaval less than a year later. “I truly can not imagine the company continuing to produce our slate of content without the people we lost today,” said one employee.

Rapper PnB Rock has died after being shot during a robbery in a Los Angeles famed Roscoe's House of Chicken 'N Waffles restaurant Monday. He was 30 years old.

The Los Angeles Police Department's Captain Kelly Muniz did not name the rapper but said in a news briefing shared by FOX LA on Monday that a "victim was sitting at a table eating with a female witness when he was approached by the suspect."

The suspect then pulled out a gun "and demanded his property" before shooting several times "and appears to remove some property," Muniz added.

He was later declared dead at 1:59 p.m. local time, said Muniz, adding that the South Bureau Homicide will be investigating the case along with "many other detectives."

Though Muniz did not name the rapper, video and witnesses named the victim as PnB Rock, real name Rakim Hasheem Allen.

A graphic video of the aftermath of the shooting shows the rapper alive but severely injured. Someone asks how old he is and a woman is heard saying, "He's 30."

No one else was injured in the restaurant, according to KTLA.

The rapper's designer and influencer girlfriend Stephanie Sibounheuang shared in a since-deleted Instagram Story –– which was shared online by fans –– a video of her meal at the restaurant shortly before the shooting.
