After being shot in New Jersey, Lil Tjay remixed 50 Cent’s “Many Men,” which is from 50 Cent’s 2003 debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin’.

Tjay put out his own version of “FACESHOT” on YouTube this weekend, and the accompanying artwork showed Tjay’s head on 50’s body from the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ album cover. The song talked about the shooting and the triggerman, and also said that the 21-year-old had recovered from being shot seven times.

While sitting in his car outside a Chipotle in Edgewater, New Jersey, Lil Tjay was shot seven times during an attempted robbery in June. The 21-year-old was quickly taken into emergency surgery and was reported to have been unconscious and needing a tube to breathe for a few days. in 2000, 50 Cent had the same fate when he was shot nine times while he was in front of his grandmother’s house in Queens.

Tjay came back with “Beat The Odds” on August 26 and thanked his fans for supporting him the whole timeHis music video was recorded in the hospital while he was still recovering from his gunshot wounds.

Footage of Grand Theft Auto VI, Rockstar’s next entry in its open-world franchise, appears to have leaked online. PC Gamer reports that a user on the GTA Forums has posted a 3GB file full of 90 videos of GTA VI footage. It’s not exactly clear how the footage was obtained, but the “teapotuberhacker” poster claims to be behind the unrelated Uber hack late last week, and says they may “leak more data soon”

J. Cole not only covers NBA 2K23; he’s contributed new bars to the game also.

The Dreamville rapper made history earlier this month when he became the first rapper to cover the popular basketball video game franchise, appearing on the cover of the GameStop-exclusive DREAMER Edition.

It was also announced that Cole would play a major role in this year’s MyCAREER mode alongside fellow Dreamville artists Bas and Elite, appearing as a virtual version of himself in the interactive storyline.

NBA 2K23 arrived on September 9. J. Cole’s “It’s A Cole World” quest as part of the MyCAREER game mode is said to be the largest and most extensive in 2K history.

“NBA 2K has long been a place to discover new musical talent through their game and continues to be a gold standard for showcasing all things basketball culture,” Cole said of his cover. “It’s been an amazing journey to not only appear on a cover of this year’s game, but to be part of the MyCAREER storyline, soundtrack and bring the DREAMER brand into NBA 2K.

“There’s also more to come, so watch out for all things Dreamville and DREAMER brand drops during Seasons and for Bas and Elite in this year’s MyCAREER story.”

Blackpink’s Born Pink is here. As the K-pop girl group — comprising Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa — release their second album, Blackpink shared the music video for their hip-hop-infused “Shut Down.”

Over the sound of strings and and an insistent bass, the queens of Blackpink aim some strong words their doubters, haters and the paparazzi. In the chorus: “When we pull up you know it’s a shut-down,” while the hook goes, “Whip it whip it whip it whip it / Keep watching me shut it down.”

The lyrics switch between English and Korean as the girls repeat their “Blackpink in your area” catchphrase throughout the track. “Praying for my downfall, many have tried, baby.”

The group teased the video by sharing a 23-second clip of the video’s set as a violin played. “Keep watching me shut it down,” a voice rings to end the clip.
