Thor: Love and Thunder is a 2022 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Thor, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the sequel to Thor: Ragnarok (2017) and the 29th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Taika Waititi, who co-wrote the script with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, and stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor alongside Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, Waititi, Russell Crowe, and Natalie Portman. In the film, Thor attempts to find inner peace, but must return to action and recruit Valkyrie (Thompson), Korg (Waititi), and Jane Foster (Portman)—who is now the Mighty Thor—to stop Gorr the God Butcher (Bale) from eliminating all gods.

Fresh from releasing his tenth album ‘Breezy,’ the singer has revealed that a deluxe edition to the 23-track-set is incoming imminently.  Brown made the reveal on Instagram Stories, amidst a rant about being targeted for his album sales after ‘Breezy’ debuted at #4 with 72,000 on the Billboard 200.

At the end of 2019, The Game dropped his ninth album Born 2 Rap, and claimed that he would retire from rap after the project’s release. As you’re probably aware by now, we live in a world where rappers are really bad at retiring and it was only a matter of time until The Game reclaimed his position in hip-hop. Fast-forward almost three years and the Compton native is gearing up to release his tenth album Drillmatic, and while a release date for it is unknown at the moment, The Game did reveal an interesting tidbit about the album.

Since dropping his debut album B.I.B.L.E. in April, Fivio Foreign hasn’t taken his foot off of our necks. He’s appeared on Antonio Brown‘s album, Jim Jones and Maino‘s album and dropped a couple of music videos of his own.

Brent Faiyaz occupies a particular corner of R&B music where the tone of the lyrics is seen to be equivalent to Future‘s bars at their toxic best. The Columbia, Md. native will release his second full-length album Wasteland this Friday, and Twitter is ready for the “toxic” vibes.

Brent Faiyaz, 26, has been active since releasing Sonder Son in 2017 but his last body of work was the F*ck The World EP from 2020. Faiyaz returned to form in 2021 with singles such as “Wasting Time” featuring Drake, and “Gravity” with TDE collaborator DJ Dahi and Tyler, The Creator on the help out. Faiyaz dropped the “Price Of Fame” earlier this year ahead of the Wasteland drop, and the news of the project’s impending release has Twitter abuzz.

Faiyaz, an incredibly savvy social media user, has been teasing the album’s release periodically over the spring and summer on Instagram, including unveiling a large billboard in New York. He’s also active on Twitter, offering a countdown of sorts thus further drumming up the anticipation.

Beyoncé is back!

After teasing new music during her cover story for Harper's Bazaar in August 2021, the singer officially announced her seventh studio album, Renaissance, on June 16.

"Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving," the Grammy-winning singer wrote on Instagram alongside the album's cover art.

"My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment," she continued. "A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are."

While we still have a while to go before the full album drops, Beyoncé has already given us glimpses of what's to come, including the album's lead single, "Break My Soul," which was released on June 20.

This year’s BET Awards experienced a boost from last year’s numbers, drawing in 3.2 million viewers across a simulcast of 10 Paramount Global networks on Sunday.

This marks a 34% jump in viewership from 2021, when BET’s in-person ceremony brought in only 2.4 million viewers across multiple outlets. In comparison, the 2020 BET Awards (which were held virtually) averaged 3.7 million people, in large part due to simulcasting with CBS. (CBS didn’t return as a partner in 2021 or 2022.)

BET averaged 2.1 million viewers out of this year’s total 3.2 million. The rest of the viewership came from other Paramount cablers including Comedy Central, MTV, TV Land and VH1. According to BET, the ceremony is also the No. 1 awards show on cable in the key adults 18-49 demographic, while also becoming the best-performing telecast ever on BET’s digital platforms, with 103 million social views.
