From A Birds Eye View sees Cordae collaborating with heavyweight names across a variety of genres such as Stevie Wonder, Lil Wayne, Freddie Gibbs, Eminem, H.E.R., Lil Durk, Gunna, Ant Clemons and Roddy Ricch.

In addition to the release of the album, Cordae will perform an intimate live set as part of NPR's Tiny Desk (Home) Concerts series. On January 18th Cordae is collaborating with AT&T Emerging Voices, a program that pairs artists on-the-rise with AT&T's platforms and technology, for AT&T Presents: Cordae Live: From A Birds Eye View, an immersive one-of-a-kind audio-visual event and live stream from Brooklyn, NY's National Sawdust.

Chris Brown has teased that he is releasing a new album in 2022 - and his fans are totally here for it!

The R&B singer never fails to offer his unique sound with each album. Over the years, Brown has consistently graced his fans with his eclectic range of music.

Following the release of his second double album 'Indigo' last year, Breezy has revealed he is working on his tenth studio album.

Chris dropped the album's lead single, 'Iffy', on Friday 14th January, 2021.

Marking the beginning of the new era, the singer also dropped an accompanying music video.

The rest of the album's tracklist currently remains unknown.

In mid-2019, Brown took to Instagram to reveal his album title.

Making the major announcement, Brown said that he's already got pains for his next studio album, which will be his tenth.

"MY 10th studio album will be called ...... 'BREEZY,'" wrote Brown.

Prior to announcing the album title, the "Undecided" singer let his fans guess what they think it would be called, after promoting them on Instagram.

One fan wrote "Aeko's Royalty", named after his then-newborn son and daughter, Royalty Brown.

Other fans of the singer guessed the title will have something to do with the album being his tenth studio album.

In late 2019, Chris Brown took to Instagram to tease his upcoming album Breezy.

Taking to his Instagram feed, the singer uploaded a now-deleted post with the caption 'Breezy Season Is Coming'.

Fans immediately took to the comment section, getting excited about the singer's upcoming release.

NLE Choppa announced on Twitter that his previously promised and postponed album Me Vs Me will be the “mixtape of the year.”

NLE hit fans on Twitter with an update on the release, saying “Going For Tape Of The Year Easily.”

Fans of the vegan rapper responded in the comments, suggesting that NLE was afraid of a matchup with Cordae, whose highly anticipated release is scheduled for January 14th.

Other fans are giving NLE the side-eye, suggesting that he’s made multiple promises in the past and didn’t deliver,  tweeting “Better be you pushed that mf back 100 times.”

“It’s not dropping in the 21st guys he’s made this tweet abt 3 different previous dates.”

We’ll see if the Memphis native can keep his promise this time with a mixtape that’s worth the wait.

NBA Youngboy is dropping a new mixtape entitled Colors this Friday, January 14. The rapper made the announcement on social media earlier today, unveiling the cover art for the project.

Designed by Atlanta artist TRILL, the artwork features NBA Youngboy wearing a black beanie and rainbow tie-dye hoodie.

Colors will mark the twentieth mixtape that he’s put out since 2015. This tape follows November’s Until I Return, which arrived only weeks after he was released into house arrest following a seven-month prison stint.

Last week, the rapper shared a new single called “Fish Scale.” And on Tuesday, Taz Taylor, one of the founding producers at the collective Internet Money, shared a video of NBA Youngboy in the studio and announced that they’ll be dropping their song “Flossin’” on January 21.

NBA Youngboy’s Colors is out on streaming services on Friday.

Investors fear Microsoft's announced acquisition of Activision will bring more competition to Sony's PlayStation division and take away key games from the Japanese giant's platform.

Key Activision games like Call of Duty could help power Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass subscription service.

One analyst said the market "overreacted" with the 12% stock drop and that Sony will continue to pump out "blockbuster" games due to its investments in gaming studios.

investors likely fear rising competition to Sony's PlayStation division as well as the potential for Microsoft to pull some popular games from the Japanese entertainment giant's platforms.

For some time, Sony has been ahead of Microsoft with its portfolio of first-party games, allowing it to stay ahead in the console wars. But should Microsoft close the acquisition of Activision, it will have a strong portfolio of hit games from the Call of Duty franchise to World of Warcraft.

That content can help power Microsoft's subscription strategy around Game Pass, a pay-monthly service that allows users to access a library of games across different devices. It is a rival to Sony's "PlayStation Plus" and "PlayStation Now" services.

When console makers own the gaming studio, they often make those games exclusive to their platforms. Games like Call of Duty are currently available on both PlayStation and Xbox.

But investors fear Microsoft could take those games off of PlayStation's platforms, giving the U.S. company more attractive content to rival Sony.

"There is no doubt that this deal weakens Sony position in the market," Piers Harding-Rolls, games research director at Ampere Analysis, said in a note published Wednesday.

"Whether or not Activision Blizzard's content is progressively made exclusive to Xbox platforms and services, inclusion of new releases into Xbox Game Pass for several major games franchises, including Call of Duty, will undermine Sony's third-party business. Sony has benefitted from the ability to negotiate timed exclusive content for Call of Duty but this is now under threat."

Paper Route EMPIRE is celebrating the life and legacy of Young Dolph with the upcoming compilation album, Long Live Dolph.

The forthcoming project is set to release on January 21 and will feature Paper Route EMPIRE artists such as Key Glock, Jay Fizzle, Snupe Bandz, Big Moochie Grape, Kenny Muney and more. Its album art features Young Dolph’s famed dolphin pendant, which is an Avianne Eliantte exclusive.

Authorities recently named 23-year-old Justin Johnson as the murder suspect in Young Dolph’s murder, adding that the suspect has been included to the TBI’s most wanted list, is wanted for first-degree murder, criminal attempt-first degree murder and theft of property worth $10,000 USD to $60,000 USD. Authorities also mentioned that he “should be considered armed & dangerous.”

Young Dolph was shot and killed in home of Memphis in November 2021 while buying cookies for his mother at Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies.

The first trailer for Marvel’s forthcoming series Moon Knight has dropped – but fans are expressing scepticism about star Oscar Isaac’s British accent.

Isaac plays Marc Spector in the series, a man with dissociative identity disorder who becomes the conduit for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu.

Ethan Hawke co-stars as cult leader Arthur Harrow. Moon Knight will debut on Disney Plus on 30 March.

Viewers shared their reactions to the trailer on social media, with many commenting on Isaac’s unconventional English dialect.

“Oscar Isaac‘s British accent is simply terrible, that s*** hurt my ears,” wrote one person.

“My mind is split between appreciating how amazing Moon Knight looks and trying to digest Oscar Isaac with a British accent,” wrote another.

“Oscar Isaac’s accent in the #MoonKnight trailer is literally like ‘ello guvna wot are ya dewin?!” wrote someone else.

“Oscar Isaac’s ‘British’ accent is deeply fascinating to me,” quipped one person, while another wrote: “Giving Oscar Isaac a British accent feels like a very personal attack.”

Moon Knight is one of a number of series set to debut on Disney Plus in 2022 that are part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

She-Hulk, Ms Marvel, Secret Invasion and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special are also currently scheduled to be released before the end of the year.

Gunna released his third album DS4EVER this past Friday and fans quickly noticed that a notable collaboration was missing from it. Gunna’s “P Power” track with Drake — which was previously titled “P*ssy Power” — was absent from the project when it was made available on streaming platforms last weekend. A reason for it was not given by Gunna, Drake, or their respective teams, but at long last, the song is finally here.

The track is carried by a sample of Donna Summer’s “Could It Be Magic” thanks to excellent production from Metro Boomin. “P*ssy Power” as a whole is an erotic record dedicated to women and their sexual prowess. Both rappers detail drug-driven moments with the women in their lives and how they cater to them thanks to their lavish and wealthy lifestyles.

Kanye West and The Game released a new song on Friday called “Eazy,” alongside graphic artwork of a skinned monkey.

The track features a signature monotone beat that Ye has become known for, alongside a sample of a woman singing the word “easy.”

“Super Gremlin” first landed on DSPs in October 2021 as part of the Sniper Gang Presents Syko Bob & Snapkatt: Nightmare Babie project. The single has finally risen into the Top 10 of this week’s Hot 100 chart.

After jumping six spots on Billboard‘s latest Hot 100 tally, Kodak Black’s “Super Gremlin” reached a new peak at #10. Black now has three career Top Tenners following “Tunnel Vision” in 2017 (#6) and “ZEZE” featuring Travis Scott and Offset in 2018 (#2).

“Super Gremlin” opened at #97 back in October. So far, the Atl Jacob-produced track has spent nine total weeks on the Hot 100 chart. Five of those weeks included Top 40 positions.

Kodak Black went viral on social media back in December after taking part in a “Super Gremlin” reaction video on the ZIAS! YouTube channel. The awkward exchange with Zias and B. Lou caused some viewers to grow concerned about Black’s well-being.
