"Minecraft" main character Steve is scheduled to arrive as a playable fighter in the Nintendo Switch smash-hit game "Super Smash Bros. Ultimate," Nintendo announced on Thursday. Though Microsoft owns "Minecraft" and Nintendo owns "Super Smash Bros. Ultimate," the two gaming titans are putting aside their differences once again to bring together Mario and "Minecraft." The long-running "Super Smash Bros." series is famous for such collaborations, with previous installments including non-Nintendo gaming icons like Snake from "Metal Gear Solid" and Cloud from "Final Fantasy VII." Nintendo has also worked with Microsoft previously on "Minecraft," with "Super Mario Bros." characters appearing in Microsoft's game. With over 20 million copies sold, "Super Smash Bros. Ultimate" is one of Nintendo's most popular games on its wildly successful Nintendo Switch console. The game pits Nintendo icons like Mario, Donkey Kong, and Pikachu against each other in a lighthearted battle to the death.

Among Us is an online multiplayer social deduction game, developed and published by American[2] game studio InnerSloth and released on June 15, 2018. The game takes place in a space-themed setting where players each take on one of two roles, most being Crewmates, and a predetermined number being Impostors. The goal for the Crewmates is to identify the Impostors, eliminate them, and complete tasks around the map; the Impostors' goal is to covertly sabotage and kill the Crewmates before they complete all their tasks. Through a plurality vote, players believed to be Impostors may be removed from the game. If all Impostors are eliminated or all tasks are completed, the Crewmates win; if there are an equal number of Impostors and Crewmates, or if a critical sabotage goes unresolved, the Impostors win. While initially released in 2018 to little mainstream attention, it received an influx of popularity in 2020 due to many well-known Twitch streamers and YouTubers playing it. In response to the game's popularity, a sequel, Among Us 2, was announced in August 2020. However, a month later in September, the planned sequel was cancelled, with the team instead shifting focus to improving the original game.

Rocket League just went free-to-play, and Epic will give you a $10 coupon to the store just for downloading Rocket League. For the time being, Rocket League costs $-10 on the Epic Games Store. Sony has its first-party exclusives. Nintendo has the console that poured into the gaps of your busy life. Xbox has Game Pass, a service with over 100 games available for a monthly fee. Game Pass is the Netflix-esque game service that will almost certainly become the main selling point of the Xbox Series X when it launches in November. A subscription model that allows players to download and play a vast library of games for $15 per month, Game Pass Ultimate is the best value proposition in gaming. And it's not even close. Whereas Sony is keen to continue marching to the same beat, selling consoles and making money on world-beating exclusives like God of War and The Last of Us Part 2, Microsoft is branching out in a different direction: Consoles are now another means to build that Game Pass subscriber base -- a base that's grown by 50% in the last six months. There are now 15 million Game Pass subscribers.

DAYSTAR is Tory Lanez’s sixth studio album and his first release since the shooting involving him and fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion on July 12, 2020 which left her hospitalized and him jailed on gun charges. Many of the tracks are centered around the alleged shooting and act as Tory telling his side of the story. The album’s title is in reference to Tory’s real name, Daystar Peterson, and it is his third project of 2020, following The New Toronto 3 and VVS Capsule. The album also marks his first full-length album released independently on his own label, One Umbrella Records after leaving Interscope following the release of TNT3.

Tha Carter V originally arrived in 2018 after a massive delay caused by Lil Wayne’s contract feud with Cash Money Records. There was also considerable bad blood between the rapper and label head Birdman. Things began to settle in June 2018 when Cash Money’s parent company, Universal Music Group, settled a lawsuit for “well over $10 million” that simultaneously freed Wayne from his former label. Birdman and Lil Wayne also were able to bury the hatchet. The new deluxe edition expands upon the double-album’s 23 tracks with an additional 10. Three of the songs — a version of “What About Me” featuring Post Malone, a Gucci Mane collaboration called “In This House”, and “Hasta La Vista” — were previously released as standalone bonus cuts. Two additional guests also appear on the expanded version: 2 Chainz on “Siri” and Raekwon on “More to the Story”. Other new tracks include “Holy”, “Scottie”, “Life of Mr. Carter”, and “Lost”.
