Lewis Grabban netted his first goal of the campaign in the first half as he converted debutant Max Lowe's low cross into the penalty box, following a neat link-up between Lowe and Brennan Johnson down the left-hand side. However, Cardiff turned the game around in the second period as their direct style told; a brace from Rubin Colwill seeing the visitors claim all three points.
