This week, I sit down with Frank Cooke — sneaker designer, creative director, and cultural storyteller — to talk about his influential run with Jordan Brand and Nike, and the mark he’s left on sneaker culture. Starting on Jordan Brand’s exclusive NRG team, Frank helped bring to life some of the most talked-about releases in recent history, including the Nigel Sylvester Air Jordan 1, “Not For Resale” AJ1, Travis Scott collaborations, and reimagined retro classics. His work was never just about shoes — it was about crafting stories that connected deeply with the culture. After leaving Jordan in 2018, Frank continued to push boundaries as a creative force, and in this episode we dive into his latest release, the Nike GT Future “Fire,” along with his personal milestone of 3 years of sobriety. Oh, and for the record — Frank pulled up rocking a clean Rolex during filming, which earned him even more brownie points. Frank is such a cool guy.

It wasn’t easy for him to process, and it came with its challenges, but I’m proud to be standing in my truth and living authentically. Beyond the personal, I’m also celebrating a huge milestone—my podcast is officially charting on Apple Podcasts! The support and love from listeners have me feeling so happy and grateful.

On a lighter note, I share my thoughts on Lil Baby’s new album, WHAM, which has been on heavy rotation for me—it’s definitely delivering the vibes I needed. At the same time, I reflect on the devastating LA wildfires and the lives affected, reminding us all how important it is to support those in need. Welcome to episode 2, This isn't just a rant-it's a real conversation about accountability, navigating big-city energy, and staying informed about cultural and industry shifts. It took me awhile to finally take a look within myself, and had a Issa Rae rap in the mirror self talk with myself. " Like G get it together" On the positive note I get to fight another day. To summarize this episode I would say accountability is the main point of action. From traveling to Los Angeles for two weeks, self reflection, and a couple fall outs. I feel stronger than ever with better perspectives. Whether you love or hate the topics that I story tell, these are my opinions not statements. I still hate Los Angeles, that's something that will never change, unless I live like a Kardashian.
