This week we’re joined by Vix Perks, lead singer of We’ve Got a Fuzzbox and We’re Gonna Use It (AKA Fuzzbox). We’re doing something a bit different this episode and jumping into a 100 song compilation with Now Even More Forgotten 80’s released 15th November 2019. We talk Vix’s feelings on Fuzzbox being on this compilation, the in depth philosophical question of what Now means when it says ‘forgotten’ and what will happen if you ask Jason Donovan to play musical chairs.

This week we’re joined by Thom Rylance, lead singer of the brilliant Lottery Winners. We’re following on from E9’s foray into the 90’s by taking on the full 00’s with Now 00’s released 10th November 2017. We talk Thom’s many similarities with Beyoncé, the internalised misogyny in a Pussycat Doll’s song and why Mr. Brightside perhaps isn’t the best song ever written ever… We also have some thoughts on some key players that are missing from this really quite good compilation.

This week we’re joined by Marcus Carter, drummer of the fantastic Newcranes . We’re back in the 80’s and looking at Now 8 released 24th November 1986 (rereleased 26th March 2021). We talk representations of masculinity on this compilation, whether or not we’d drink cherry wine and Marcus tells us exactly which song he’s drummed along to from this banging album… If you're interested in the Ed Sheeran comment that almost made Marcus crash his car, tune into E4 - Now 7 with Plumhall and go to around 26mins in (or listen to the entire episode, it's funny!)

This week we’re joined by Rick McMurray, drummer of Ash . We’re sticking with the 80’s and going with Now 2 that was released on 26th March 1984. Rick talks drumming along to this Now compilation, songs that sound fun but are actually dark and whether or not Queen were trying to write another stadium rock song with ‘Radio Gaga’. Surprisingly, Kathryn was actually right when she claimed ‘We Will Rock You’ (1977) was released well before ‘Radio Gaga’ (1984).
