    This week we are joined by Mark Morriss, solo artist and lead singer of The Bluetones. We’re following on directly from last episode and discussing Now 34 which was released in July 1996.  Don’t get used to the continuity though, this is a happy accident! Mark has officially been called music 4 times which is quite the honour and makes him very qualified to discuss this compilation. We chat British music in 1996, Mark’s feelings about Bryan Adams and the boring half of U2.

    Join Dan and Kathryn as they rummage through the back catalogue of Now That’s What I Call Music.

    This week we are joined by the wonderful Mark Chadwick, lead singer of The Levellers. We discuss Now 33 which was released in March 1996. This edition features Queen (again), Radiohead and Oasis (twice) and Mark gives us some inside info on being on a Now compilation. We chat about the rise of the ‘alternative’ band in the mid 90’s, the issues we have with Shaggy and Mark calls some people bellends. Kathryn also somehow mistakes Paul Weller’s Greatest Hits for his ‘first solo album’ like the true 80’s child she is.

    Join Dan and Kathryn as they rummage through the back catalogue of Now That’s What I Call Music. 

    This weeks pilot is a nice straightforward one - Dan tells Kathryn all about his first experience with Now! He discusses Now 6 which was released in November 1985. This edition features Queen, Kate Bush and Cliff Richard (!) We chat Dan being an 11 year old rocker, Fergal Sharkey induced cognitive dissonance and Phil Collins divorce.
