We are back after some time off after the Episode 200 Live Shows! And we are back to full cast as well! 

We catch up with Chad and Jefe, what they've been up to the last few weeks. Disney held their D23 convention and as usual had big reveals. Such as three-quels for Frozen, Zootopia, and The Incredibles. They also revealed more of the upcoming new cast for the X-men in the MCU. 

Speaking of comic book news, DC's Lanterns has started on HBO. A gritty, sci-fi, cop show with aliens. The first episode was met with mixed reviews. Some people hating it for not being more action oriented. Some just enjoyed this new take on the Green Lantern mythos. 

Tyler asks us a couple of questions. Have we ever purchased something that ended up being useless or unused for one reason or another? And is there any current TV show that has reached mass audience popularity? 

Shaun sends in a message as well, for the first time in months, updating us on his life and asking our thoughts on religious myths. Such as: did Jesus have children that have been kept hidden by secret societies? 

Sad news again this week as another young celebrity has passed away. Hayden Panettiere. At the time of recording it was unclear as to the cause of death.

This week Tim has returned! Which means we are going off the rails again! We discuss the passing and funeral for the father of friend of the show Rodney. Merely a week after Shoky's dad's funeral.

Then we get into the deep discussion of social value. While everyone is created equal in the eyes of the Lord, and the law, are they all equal to society? 

If you stay at home complaining on the internet about all the things other people have, do you have the same value as a person building homes for the homeless? 

Is there something intrinsic to our existence, or must you bring value to the world around you? 

At the same time do we truly have democracy and justice here in the US or have we simply become mob rule? It seems that one side always claims to be victim and calls for the destruction of the system and laws in this country, while the other tries to maintain rule of law and civility until pushed past peaceful resolution. 

So who has the true power in this world?

This week! We are back talking about burning the boats, but with a new voice. We discuss bad promotional design. A friend of the show created an image for a party without taking into consideration what meaning the image may convey to the world. 

Shoky updates us on how things are going since his dad passed away. Dealing with living parents can sometimes be harder than dealing with the dead ones. 

Graham Platner has dropped out of the Senate Race after sexual assault allegations. 

We discuss energy drink flavors and how Echelon has run into some legal issues around their lemonade/tea flavor and also the Goth Girl Spit. 

And we question whether most school zones are even legitimate in this day and age.

We are back once again Awkward Ones. This week Shoky had to repair his car while repairing his car. Apparently more was wrong than he knew. 

HBO's  "House of the Dragon" is back with a heck of start to the season. Introducing a new dragon called Sheepstealer that is....special.

Amazon has 2 big hit seasons that also just wrapped up with Clarkson's Farm season 5 and The Legend of Vox Machina Season 4. 

With the British farming show concluding on a bombshell that something is going on in the bovine industry. Undetectable tuberculosis that spells doom for any farm, but even if it an animal is proven to not be infected, your entire farm must remain locked down, you lose an animal (or 3) with no recompense from the government. Yet they get to set and enforce all the rules unquestioned.

Tyler writes in to discuss the concept of Purgatory in the Catholic faith. If it is a place where you are to cleanse yourself of sin to get to Heaven, why can the living buy your freedom from it? Interesting idea.

Sophie Cunningham gifted the internet a new meme template with her recent "pointing" at an opposing team member during a game. Why has women's basketball become so violent and why is such violence allowed against some players and not others? Such as Caitlin Clark.

Also Venezuela had a tremendous earthquake. Devastating the area and killing thousands. While a very serious situation, we do have to point out that it is Ed's fault. 

Speaking of fault, it is apparently the US' fault that French people have died in the European heat wave. We don't know how, or why.

It's a rush job this week! We had a week off and then almost missed this week. There's a lot going on in the Shoky household. The air conditioning broke leaving our home stagnating around 83 degrees for days. Only just being fixed hours before our recording time. 

Welcome back Chad! It's been a long time since we've heard from our Vinyl Daddy! He was gone for essentially a month! He even missed Episode 200 part 1. Which we discuss as a teaser for part 2. Make sure you join us on July 11, 2026 at Mad Llama Brewing in Spring!

We do have some very sad new as well: Shoky's dad passed away last week. 92 years old. And 2 days before Father's Day. There has been much pain and suffering in our family lately. At least his has ended.

Also, European immigrants have been flooding the US.....for the World Cup Championship! And they are loving America! So many are claiming that America is not what they've been told. Beautiful, friendly, bountiful, and MASSIVE. So why is it they think our country is horrible? Who is telling them that?
