I speak with Glory Magazine co-founder and Creative Director, Lee Nash on the challenges of running a magazine, the lessons that come with it and why we do it at all.
Lee also explains the decision-making behind the controversially received Qatar issue and emotional impact of the stories covered both there and in war-torn Ukraine.

Kyle Martino is a former USMNT midfielder turned entrepreneur.
Having founded The Over Under Initiative, a non-profit dedicated to improving access to sport in urban neighbourhoods, Kyle believes he's making more of an impact than would have been possible had he been successful in his bid for the US Soccer presidency in 2018, and it's hard to argue.
At the route of his motivation to bring the beautiful game to the masses across the United States, is a boy who just loves playing.
I hope you enjoy our conversation.

I first spoke with Jon for the ninth issue of NPLH Magazine, back in October 2020. The focus of that conversation was Kennedy Park FC, the community pickup team formed by Jon and friend, Hany, in the Portland area of Maine, New England, on a patch of concrete normally occupied by basketball players.
In this conversation, we touch on Jon's life leading up to his arrival in Maine: the early promise of childhood and the pressures of following full scholarship-achieving siblings, recreational drug use leading to an addiction that took him away from the game, recovery, football's role in that, and how he's using those experiences for good in his role as a college coach and youth mentor.
