With Round 1A in the books and Round 1B team lists out, the boys examine the (shorter but still extensive) list of players you might consider for your fantasy team in round 1, with half a mind to getting in some strong performers from the first two games and the risks you might take knowing you might pull the rip cord on 2 trades heading into round 2.

Once again we find ourselves with a blend of serious and unserious coaches, with some coaches happy to park their Ethan S. ferraris and troll fantasy coaches with a third Ethan in the halves, while others trot out what is obviously a round 1 team list (or close to it). We unveil what we are looking for in these trial matches, and a surprise elite gun dual centre/wing fullback option we are looking at for round 1 if the chips fall his way.

As with the cheapies, the mid range also offers a variety of "possibles" options, where their range of outcomes is wide or their role uncertain, hence why they have landed in that spot. If you pick one of these players and they pop off, they are likely a great point of difference option. If they don't, you will find yourself trading them sooner rather than later.
