Former acting CIA director Michael Morell was recently asked under oath about the origins of the intel letter discrediting the Hunter Biden laptop story as possible Russian disinformation.

He testified under oath that a call from now-Secretary of State Antony Blinken “triggered” the creation of the letter, which was signed by 51 current and former members of the intelligence community.

When questioned further, he said, “one intent was to share our concern with the American people that the Russians were playing on this issue; and two, it was [to] help Vice President Biden.”

“I wanted [Biden] to win the election,” he testified, according to a letter sent to Blinken by House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan and Intelligence Chairman Mike Turner.

This isn’t the first time this ex-CIA boss has stirred up hot-button issues in the lead-up to a presidential election, according to John Solomon and Nick Givas’s reporting in Just the News. In 2012, he edited official talking points about the deadly 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack to remove references to al-Qaeda. And in the summer of 2016, he was one of the first major figures to publicly claim Trump was a Russian asset in a New York Times op-ed.

The U.S. House of Representatives has subpoenaed several top Biden administration officials, including the director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), over the administration’s coordination with Big Tech to censor users. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, sent the subpoenas on April 28 to CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Director Jen Easterly, and James Rubin, an official at the State Department’s Global Engagement Center (GEC).

Over 100 Harvard professors joined to form a new council dedicated to free speech rights. The council is pushing back on what some call a crisis, involving disciplinary actions and punishment against targeted speech.

Florida lawmakers gave final passage to a measure that clears a path for Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis to run for president without resigning from his current job. The provision, which was anticipated, would tweak a Florida law—known as “resign to run”—that currently requires candidates in the state seeking higher office to give up their elected post once they qualify for the ballot. The legislation approved Friday exempts “any person seeking the office of President or Vice President of the United States” from the resign-to-run law.

We now know that Joe Biden lied directly to the American people. And he did it with the help of the intelligence community, which was working hand in glove with the Biden campaign in order to get Biden elected president. This information comes to us from former acting CIA director Michael Morell, who testified that a call from Secretary of State Antony Blinken—who at the time was a senior advisor to the Biden campaign—served as the “trigger” for Morell’s creation of a fabricated narrative that centered around a letter written by a group of former intelligence officials. The letter, which falsely claimed that Hunter Biden’s laptop had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation,” was specifically designed to protect Biden by delegitimizing the very real evidence contained on Hunter’s laptop. Evidence that highlighted corruption within the Biden family—corruption that directly involved Joe Biden.
