Got medicated while writing my usual shit.

Yet another song I'm working on without having finished so many other ones.

Signal chain for everything is simple, as I haven't spent too much time on the mix. Clean ambient tones are AC30 sims, high gain tones are Mesa Rect sims with a tubescreamer clone, and I mainly used Slate plugins for everything, including the delay.

I just wanted to put something together using the TC Electronic Dark Matter instead of my usual higher end overdrive pedal. Not a bad choice for that tight modern tone on a budget. It's set to very low gain, high output, and cranked highs since it does kill some presence. After that, the signal chain is just going int BIAS AMP, a normal Mesa Rect amp/cab sim, EQ, comp, the usual.

Cosmic Background Radiation - Did a little mixing to CBr, as well as added an lead from a jam video I made in October. I didn't realize how out of time it was when I made it, but I'm keeping it. I also re-tracked a couple of things, and although I'm not completely happy with the tone on the lead, I think I'm gonna keep it too. I had made that lead tone a preset by accident, and decided to jam with it. There's something about keeping things organic that makes this one special.

Just a project I started trying to learn how to use oscillation properly. I had no idea how versatile it can be. I'm definitely going to use it more in the future.

I reuploaded this with a little more headroom.

Just another demo I never really finished. I added a little bit of some harmonic saturation and bit of multiband compression on the master, nothing too crazy. Also, mixed with a tiny kiss of compression on the mix bus. This one's only about a year old, while I was still in school. Like every other thing I've ever made, it's also missing vocals, and a guest solo.

Yet another riff that I'm writing that will take forever to finish due to my laziness.

Finally got around mixing this. It's a couple of years old, and the premix is somewhere on my soundcloud.

I tried mixing this using primarily free plugins, although I did have to use some Waves plugins from the gold collection, but for minor thing, like compression.

Just working on a cover of a Megaman X boss theme. Megaman X has a huge place in my childhood. I know the whole game by heart, including the music. I'm sad because I no longer have it, either that or I just can't find it, despite searching for hours.
