  • ( Ep 43)Your Care At Home with Sheila Joyner
Sheila Joyner, Founder and CEO of Your Care At Home is my guest.
Your Care At Home is a person centered non medical in home care service for the handicapped, elderly and intellectually disabled.
Sheila has been in the healthcare field for over 30 years as an employee. In our conversation, she describes her perspective from her recent years as owner/operator and what she has learned about herself in this journey.
Your Care At Home tells you where services are provided but the full depth of services are remarkable…including patient and family education, scheduling and attending medical appointments, companionship, housekeeping, grocery shopping and much more. She is licensed and insured and all members of her team have the essential background screenings.
I am very grateful to have Sheila as a guest.
As a disclaimer…parts of the audio may be sketchy…we recorded this podcast while Sheila was literally enroute from a visit…but she was insisted that we proceed anyway…

  • (Ep 41)Do Not Be Held Back
Everything we want is on the other side of fear. Too often, fear hampers us from engaging in the personal development and decision making that will move us to the next level.
This episode encourages us to move forward ‘through’ the fear.
What do we fear? We fear ridicule. We fear failure. We fear the absence of quick success. We fear loneliness. But moving forward to a better reality requires us to accept the discomfort that comes with self improvement.
Either way, when we desire more for (or of) ourselves-we are either going to be uncomfortable with the same old sameness or uncomfortable in the progressive newness. I say, it is better to be uncomfortable moving forward than staying the same old person who has denied their dreams.
I want this podcast to be the encouragement you need to help get yourself unstuck and choosing to win. I must honestly say, this episode is as much for me as it is for you. So let’s go and let’s win together!

We have to help them develop confidence based on who they are, not what they can buy, wear or drive. This episode explains why.

  • (Ep 37)When Destiny Found Me - Drive Time Thoughts
In this episode, I answer a question that was posed to me a short while ago. Essentially, the question is, “How was I able to establish myself in the area of youth services?”
So I thought the best way to answer that question is to share my own journey. That is what I do in this episode.
