Most of us would never experience slavery in our lifetimes. Even fewer of us would never have needed to make bricks without straws- like the Israelites.

However, we have definitely experienced a desperate & despairing situation in our lives. "It can't get any worse than this!" We might even have said. Unfortunately, it does & we barely have anything left in us to keep holding us.

In the sixth installment of Breaking The Circuit, Pastor John shares from Exodus 5 how God was preparing the Israelites to be delivered from slavery through the unreasonable requests of Pharaoh. Be blessed!

This weekend, we start a two-parter series called Ajar. The door ajar is the best way to describe our faith journey at any point. This image also remains an invitation to ourselves, others & most importantly, God- to take one step further, one step closer, one step deeper into whatever He is calling us to do. 

Jesus & the Samaritan woman is one of the most frequently quoted passages on God's desire to reconcile all- the alienated, broken, confused & difficult, to Him. Happy 56th Birthday Singapore! This weekend, we hear from Jason Wong- he loves Singapore & he hungers for the revival in our land. Yet, even as he launches OneforJesus, Jason also confesses that personal evangelism is hard, even for someone as experienced as himself. Here, he shares that what has pushed him forward in personal evangelism is the little spark that was ignited in his heart many years ago when he first met the Lord. 

OneforJesus is an evangelistic movement to mobilise every Christian in every church to bring at least one pre-believer to Christ within a 10-year timeframe.

It is natural for us to detest being stuck in very difficult situations. Particularly, if they are prolonged. The hopelessness & uncertainty that surround us may make us think & feel that God has abandoned us. The mask has become the hottest accessory in the last year because we wear it to prevent ourselves from getting the virus. However, Pharoah had no qualms about unmasking himself to demonstrate his true desire of destroying the Israelites residing in Egypt.
