Lauren DeFranco started her career in journalism at WFSB TV in Hartford, CT where she was an assistant to THE Gayle King (Oprah's bestie!) Lauren then landed at Channel 7 Eyewitness News in New York City, the top local station in the country, where she was a reporter in the field for 14 years.
