For some reason, today I remember how a “friend” told me, “Hey Angel, you are strong, you are alright” as she completely dismissed my feelings and the stuff I was going through. It was so cold and truly hurt me. In my eyes, this person went from someone who was very important, to someone I once knew.

Over the years, at one point or another I have considered cosmetic surgery. I am human after all. I've witnessed quite a few friends do these types of surgeries with zero complications. However, I personally know of at least two people who actually lost their lives because of it. At the end of the day, for myself, I felt that the dangers associated with cosmetic surgery were not worth the potential benefits. In this episode, let's do a deep dive into this topic.

So for only the second time in NYC history, we have elected a black man as NYC mayor. Perhaps you wonder why we make a big deal of this or why we mention his race so often and it is quite simple really. The fact that it is only the second time is in and of itself my response to you. It is very rare occurrence and that should speak volumes as to why we emphasize it. In any case, I wish Eric Adams much success in his new role as mayor. His success is our success. I voted for Adams because I believed he was the candidate that was most balanced and likely to restore order here in NYC in a way that is fair to all parties involved.
