Today, we are going to learn what the atributes of a godly servant are and we'll also see a warning about false teachers or wolves amongst the sheep.

This week we'll see that eople can reject the church for many reasons: they fear it will affect the way they make their living, they be spiritiually deceived, or think that religious ritual is more important than the truth. We'll also see that God can take the wrong motives and wrong thinking of people and still use them for His purpose.

This morning well look at how people respond to the truth.

Evangelism often involves several links in a chain. Someone plants the a seed of the gospel, others water, but God makes things grow! Acts 18:18-28 is a perfect example of this. It parallels what Paul taught in 1 Cor 3 about his part in planting the church at Corinth and then others who came after him building on that work.

In the beginning or Chapter 18 of Acts, we see Paul's strategy for sharing the gospel in challenging places. He has a strategy and employs it to tell the truth about who Jesus is wherever he goes.

So far in our series on grace we talked about the grace that saves us, the grace that sustains us, and the grace we're to show one another. Today we'll finish our series on grace by taking about the grace we serve with. Every believer has a spiritiual or grace gift bestowed upon them from God. We're to put these gifts to use for the common good of God's church.

In the third part of our series on grace, we'll look at scripture which shows us how we can use the grace Jesus modeled for us to meet the needs of others.
