Oakland’s non-police emergency response program, MACRO, is looking head-on at a budget shortfall, at the same time that it’s experiencing renewed political attacks. We’re joined this morning by  Elliott Jones, the MACRO program coordinator, to discuss the state of the program, how it’s been performing, and the challenges ahead.
