When Peter and the apostles were threatened and told to stop preaching Christ, their response was simple but powerful: “We ought to obey God rather than men” (Acts 5:29). As believers, we face pressure from culture, work, and relationships to conform but our loyalty must remain with God. The time to decide your priorities isn’t in the moment of pressure, it’s now. Know God’s Word, walk in His truth, and be ready to stand firm when obedience to Him costs something.
