I am listening to the track in question as I write the notes for this weeks instalment. I have always love it, but I have to confess I hadn't spent too much time contemplating the title until today.

Maybe you can't escape your past, maybe it is always there, just behind your shoulder, catching your eye when you glance in the rear view.

I am sure that the current occupant of 10 Downing Street must be wondering what he can do to leave the contents of his mirror far behind. But the reality of leaving so many wreckages along the road is that sooner or later you run out of gas.
