Happy holidays everyone! Sorry that we took a hiatus. Between the holidays and some stuff happening in our personal life, we had to put the podcast on the backburner. But now, we're back! Emily and I have been struggling with this episode for a while and this is what we came up with. Mind Flayers are an iconic enemy in DnD and their history was one of the few that were ruined throughout time. 

So Fizbans came out recently and it took a little bit but we finally got around to another dragon episode. This ones on some more dragons that just aren't in Fizbans. We got Blight Dragons, Chaos Dragons and Howling dragons. Haven't heard of them? Well neither have I until researching this. Grab some snacks and relax for 20 minutes as Emily and I attempt to teach you all about these 3 terrifying creatures. 

Sorry for the delay on this episode! Things got a little crazy over the weekend and I just didn't have time to edit. For this one, Emily had decided to research Nagas. I'm very glad she did because I didn't realize just how strong these snake creatures were in previous editions. 

Cats. Cats. Cats. You either love them or hate them. DnD might just justify your feelings towards these creatures. You may end up loving Tressyms or Sabu Lords while hating Luck Eaters or Kamadans. Regardless, we hope you don't hate this episode. 

Our second (late) Halloween spooktacular is now complete with the look back at Vampires. Turns out, Vampires are full of lore and history and cool powers! Who knew! Join us as we traverse the previous editions to dredge up whatever information we can that you might not know about Vampires!

It's Halloween time and you know what that means! It's time to get S P O O K Y ! So for this episode we take a look at lycanthropes. We have Lythari, which are Elves that can only turn into full animal form. Weredogs, which are just werewolves but with control over their affliction. Weredragons which are just dragons really and finally Wereseals which are surprisingly strong too. 

Harpies are an extremely iconic mythological creature in our world, but what are they in Dungeons and Dragons? Well, turns out they aren't much different. They do have a surprising twist about them though. 

do you really need to know what birds are? No. So we added an extra lost bird to the mix. Axe beaks are like Terror Birds, Chaos Rocs shoot lasers, Utoyasukata are blood mages, Zygraats might not actually be birds and Abrians are the OG Abyssal Chicken.

Living spells are unique amongst the creatures in that they don't naturally exist. Emily and I, Corey, go into some of the lore behind them and as to how and why they exist. We even have a little surprise at the end of the episode. Thanks to everyone listening to this podcast even as we try to figure out how to format it.
