Rui is born and raised in Nazare, now lives on Terceira island in the Azores and his his work has taken him to more than 30 countries. We discuss amongst other things, Nazare, the Azores, the war in Ukraine, how Rui gets up close and personal with the people he photographs and what he enjoys observing, from behind the lens, about Portugal.
