This week we sit down with Army Veteran Major Jas Boothe. Jas shares the inspiring story of how she survived Hurricane Katrina, cancer, and homelessness as a single mother and became an Oprah Winfrey Standing Ovation Award Winner and CNN Hero.

Left with lifelong disabilities from cancer, depression, and major surgeries, including double-knee replacements and spinal fusion, Jas found a healthy self-care channel through meditation, mindfulness, and spirituality. Launched in 2021, Jas is now the Chief Spirituality Officer of the newly created skin-care line, AJNA Awakening, encouraging others to nourish their skin and their mind.
