On this episode, we sit down with Broadway actress and singer/songwriter, Lauren Marcus. Lauren opens up about what it was like to go to work every day with her spouse, takes us behind the scenes of her Broadway debut, and gets real about the process of writing her own one-woman show and how she deals with the financial and emotional ups and downs that come with being an artist in NYC.
Lauren Marcus is an actor and writer living in New York City. After originating the role of Brooke Lohst in "Be More Chill" at Two River Theater in 2015, Lauren made her Broadway debut with the show at the Lyceum Theatre in 2019. Lauren will be making her feature film debut this month in “tick, tick…Boom!” She also plays regularly throughout NYC with her 12-person band, most recently completing a residency downtown at Rockwood Music Hall.
