Just because one has a different perspective or experiences the world differently does not mean that perspective is wrong.  Those that are different should never be underestimated. 

Background: The purpose of this qualitative study was to investigate the perspectives of related service providers on everyday life participation of children and youth with disabilities that they serve.

Method: A qualitative design was used to guide interviews that elicited the participants’ perspectives working with children and youth with disabilities.

Lack of accessible homes is having a profound and often devastating impacts on people's lives, making the effects of housing crisis particularly acute for disabled and older people now.

The singer in this video is 29-year-old Alfina Fresta from Italy. She has spastic dystonic tetraparesis, a form of cerebral palsy. Alfina Fresta performs with the Neon Cultural Association which helps people with disabilities taking part in artistic activities such as theatre and opera alongside people who don't have a disability. Stefania Licciardello, president of the Association, is seen holding Alfina in most of her performances.
