The popular Carney 10K road race makes a welcome return to the Sligo athletics calendar on Easter Monday, April 18th. Organisers this year have introduced a new half-marathon event.

This year, the first male and female finishers in the new half-marathon will each receive a perpetual cup in memory of the late Gerry Moran, who was an active member of the Carney 10K committee - and was also the first walker home in the 2019 edition of the event.
