A homeless couple, who've been sleeping in their car in various parts of Sligo for the past week, have appealed to Sligo County Council to facilitate them with emergency accommodation. The couple, who are members of the travelling community, cannot source any local accommodation, and claim they've been informed suitable emergency accommodation will not be provided until the outdoor temperatures reach freezing point
