Sligo Rovers defender Garry Buckley has described calls by some supporters for manager Liam Buckley to go as 'absolute madness'. The Cork-born defender agreed a new two-year contract extension with the club on Wednesday

That news comes as the club has announced a new retail partnership with Elverys Sports. This means the club shop will be based in Elverys.

Buckley spoke to Ocean FM Sport about his decision to sign with Rovers for two more seasons.
