TV entertainers, Ant and Dec, should be approached and asked to become ambassadors for Co Leitrim, and stimulate tourism to the county. That's according to Cllr Felim Gurn, after the TV programme last year linking Ant McPartlin with family connections in Drumkeeran

Leitrim man Liam Cox is planning a very different Christmas than the rest of us this year.

The 26-year-old from Leitrim village is going to run a marathon every day for 12 days over the Christmas period to raise money for North West Stop.

He'll start on December the 20th in Manorhamilton - and finish on New Years Eve in Carrick-on-Shannon.
