Oddity Shop

Welcome To The Oddity Shop, Where The Bizarre is Always on Sale.  This week, your curator Kara is talking about Internet Influencers, Summoning Demons...and  MUDER

Could the allure of dark magic lead one down a dangerous path? We explore this chilling curiosity with a look into the life of EA Koetting, a figure enshrined in controversy within the occult community.

Our conversation takes a solemn turn as we remember Bibaa Henry and Nicole Smallman, whose celebration turned into tragedy, prompting us to question the broader implications of sinister influences.

Koetting's narrative blurs the lines between cult leader and con artist. We scrutinize the challenges faced in holding such figures accountable and ponder the role of media platforms in spreading potentially harmful ideologies.

Welcome To The Oddity Shop, Where The Bizarre is Always on Sale.  This week, your curator Zach has a story of a Ship that travels through space and time.

Ever wondered what it would be like if science pushed the boundaries of reality? Our fascination takes us to the bewildering tale of the Philadelphia Experiment—a WWII event shrouded in mystery and conspiracy, involving teleportation and invisibility. We explore the USS Eldridge's alleged vanishing act, diving into the roles of quirks like Albert Einstein, and the controversial Carlos Allende. Was it a groundbreaking success or an elaborate cover-up? We tackle this puzzle, examining evidence, theories, and the potential risks and rewards of pushing scientific limits.

As we navigate through logs, letters, and lore, we question the twists and turns of the Philadelphia Experiment's narrative. From the peculiar margin notes in "The Case for the UFO" to tales of brainwashing and suppressed memories, the intrigue grows. Engage with us as we dissect the conspiracy, consider the possibility of advanced technology, and reflect on the legacy of this enigmatic story.

Welcome To The Oddity Shop, Where The Bizarre is Always on Sale.  This week, your curator Kara has a tale that will have you checking your email inbox for spooky messages

Ever wondered if your tech gadgets could bridge the gap between the digital world and the afterlife? Our journey takes a curious twist as we tackle the tech challenges of setting up YouTube TV for Kara's parents, navigating the minefield of passwords and updates with comedic flair. But what's tech without a hint of the paranormal? We ponder whether spirits could hack emails, just like humans do, and share real stories of mysterious emails that blur the line between ghost tales and phishing scams. Could the digital age be the new frontier for afterlife communication? It's enough to make you question your email inbox!

As we wrap up, the enigma of emails from beyond unfolds, revealing personal stories of comfort and connection that defy logic. From considering the ethical implications of a dead man's switch to quirky tales of receiving messages from deceased loved ones, we explore the heartwarming and eerie sides of these experiences.

And for our fellow oddballs, there's a playful nudge to join our community on Patreon, where more exclusive content awaits. So, grab your headphones and "creep it real" with us at the Oddity Shop.
