Unreasonable people refine their perspectives down to a single argument that is consistent yet unsupported by the nature of reality and its findings. This pandemic and the politics and groups that are the reason it is still evolving and thriving encouraged me to go back to school to try to understand why we divide further apart when a situation like this would seemingly be one that would bring us together. A pandemic paired with social injustice and political division all at once created the most unsavory living arrangements for most of us.

Initially I thought this would all erupt and dissolve within a few months but it seems that when we’re about to close one door some external force (typically now sociopolitical) is on the other side grinning while swinging a battering ram. A series of external forces that launched I’m sure many of us into a constant state of anticipation and uncertainty that was only temporarily suppressed with a prescription being filled for anti-anxiety drugs.

It seems to me that the most aware people are in a constant state of endless contemplation and uncertainty while many of those around us seem to get by with shooting from the hip with a blindfold on and coming out unscathed. The rest are quietly scared to death. Where are we in a decade? Two? Some puzzles are difficult, but they all start the same - with laying just one piece. Organization and cooperation is the answer.
