I've decided to start doing a type of mini series that will be mixed in throughout the shows feed of episodes called "Skeptic Series." For the first series, I decided to take a look at the the Holy Bible (New International Version). 

In this episode, we cover the stories of The Beginning, Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, From Adam to Noah, Wickedness in the World, Noah and the Flood, God's Covenant with Noah, The Sons of Noah, The Table of Nations, and The Tower of Babel.

In the future, these series will talk about a number of topics such as religion, philosophy, conspiracy, and whatever else triggers a sense of abstract curiosity.

Although I am an Atheist, I respect any individual's religious beliefs. This series specifically, is in no way intended to criticize, or make fun of anyone's beliefs. While I will have a bias towards my own personal beliefs, or lack thereof, I will be making a conscious attempt throughout this series to be open minded about what the text is saying, and make an effort to question ideas and stories in a sensible, respectful way.

In this episode, I bring up some talking points that were raised in interviews with individuals who were once acquainted to both the Atlanta and Colorado mass murderers. Please keep in mind, some of the things discussed in this episode may be upsetting to you. Much of this recording, while the quotes were taken from legitimate sources, are speculative, and may not be entirely true, as unfortunately, our knowledge only gets as far as the media allows with these two horrific events. 

Although this episode heavily discusses past events in these murderers' histories, I am not writing off these killing sprees as mental illness. I do believe that such acts could be the product of racism and hatred, but in this episode I do entertain the underlying details of things that were mentioned in the following interviews as they may potentially be relevant. At the end of the day, I think that the mental health professionals should be tasked with working with these individuals to find the root causes of their horrible acts, and make sure these things don't begin the grotesque snowball effect in young people in this present time.

I understand talking about issues like these is sensitive, and may even be offensive to some people. My intention is not to offend, but rather than try to educate myself about issues through this platform.
