Originally from Germany, Nicole Krass would find herself diving occasionally before taking an extended break. As she was about to embark on a lifetime trip to Indonesia, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Determined to continue, she persevered and at the same time inspired others to pursue their dreams. If you ask Tiffany Norberg where some of the best diving is, she will tell you it’s right in her backyard. At a young age, her mother made sure to involve her in water sports, so naturally, she would gravitate to the underwater world. She would find herself signing up for her Open Water Course while at school in Sweden. Here, she connected with the local diving community where she progressed into a professional role before stepping back to further pursue technical and wreck diving. Originally from South London, Natalie Turner-Blackman became certified during her gap year in 2015. Earning her Open Water Certification while at a marine conservation program, she instantly fell in love with the aquatic environment. Returning home to the cold waters of England did not dissuade her from pursuing this newfound interest. After completing her degree in Marine and Natural History Photography, she went on to a career as a cinematographer. In this episode, I sit down with Dubravka Vejnovic as she shares her journey to become an inspirational figure to all divers in the scuba community. Richard Kelch became certified with his wife after moving to a new city to create new friendships. Eventually, he joined a dive club to enjoy and spend more time underwater. With his local diving in The Great Lakes, it was only a matter of time before he discovered his love for wreck diving. As the wrecks became deeper, he would find himself moving into higher levels of training.
