Off The Coast

Lotta news around the league and the world of hockey.

Of note we cover the death of Timur Faizutdinov, as noted in the show here is a video covering what happened to Faizutdinov per an active sports doctor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79gc9y4Ffjg

On the team front, we are introducing a new way to cover our team news, so we hope you enjoy!

The Sharks and the Ducks continue to have miserable seasons, DOPS has a chance to show consistency, and Shattenkirk looks like Phil Kessel.

This week we talk have a quick talk about the disaster that's going in the Arizona Coyotes organization. And keeping on the topic of disasters we go over how our teams are doing......Bad. They are both doing very bad. Time for new GMs in California

Laine for PLD, Tony D is a meanie, Sharks and Ducks smell like wee.

A new season, a new year of needing to deal with just how bad our teams are.

With this incredibly weird season, we've made some tweaks to how we plan to structure the show. Gone is the prediction game, and we're going to be focusing largely on the Western division.

With that said, this week we do look at some of the bigger stories league wide; covid cases, and Russian players openly advocating against the jailing of one of Putin's political rivals. And we wrap up the show talking about how we think the season is going to go for the Ducks and Sharks.

Thanks for tuning into another season! This one is going to be....real weird

Penn and Joey do a breakdown on the very new and relevant Reverse Retro jerseys! It's been so long in fact, that it took so long for this episode to be finished that Penn's tier list was lost to the void.

Enjoy the the extremely topical episode and Joey's tier list!

We talk mainly about the draft and free agency, and how that effects the outlook of our clubs going forward, but we do quickly touch on Tampa's cup win.

Of note, not in this episode, Taylor Hall signed in Buffalo so uh, good luck to him, he's going to need it. And Petrangelo signed in Vegas like everyone thought he would.

This is probably our last episode of this bizarre season, so have a good offseason everyone, we'll see you whenever the NHL comes back, and don't forget to vote!

We talk Stanley Cup finals, Minnesota's unceremonious yeeting of Some Staal or another, the Arizona Dumpster-Diving-Sale, and Penn gives the Stars the kiss of death.

This episode we are stretch round two and predictions about the conference finals into a full episode! Including hot takes, antagonism, a new microphone, and a little bit of conversation about hockey! So the usual really
