Your conscience doesn't speak English. It 'speaks' using feelings.I try and convey the difference between science and religion and how they are non overlapping magisteria.I also get into how instinct, consciousness and the 'soul' are either inextricably linked, or straight up the same fucking thing!

Sticking with 'conscience'.Your conscience 'tells you' the difference between right and wrong. But not with words, it's more of a 'feeling'.When someone 'cuts you with a look', you know what's up, but they didn't verbalise it. You just 'got the message'.

Ever try to play tennis by yourself? Spoiler alert, it's not great craic. However, practicing how to hit a ball with a racket can be a bit of craic and if you've any intention of actually playing tennis, practicing by yourself is an integral part of being able to play the game, at least when you're starting out.Isn't it mad that we have to think about what it is to be 'conscious' but have no problem articulating what it means to be unconscious.
