On this episode of Off The Record, we’re flipping the script. Normally, I sit down with artists making their own original music — but this time, it’s all about a cover band keeping the music we love alive right here in our area.

Meet Elk County's Star 69 — Kevin Dippold, Eric Leathers and Travis Zuchowski. They may be fairly new together as a band but their roots run deep in our local music scene.

Find out how they juggle family with band life and what it feels like stepping on stage to play the songs you already know by heart.

That’s all coming up — Off The Record with Star 69.

From Clarion, PA, Fuzzii blends psychedelic, folk, funk, and punk into a sound that’s loud, loose, and totally their own. In this episode, Sharon hangs with guitarist Matt, drummer Willie, and bassist Bryce to talk about their origins, the local scene, “The Reverend” nickname, Hakuna Matata, and what it really means to play without rules. They also dive into the story behind their original track Open Up—and what’s coming next for the band. What do you get when you mix a one-man-band, an acoustic guitar and the soul of an unplugged rockstar? You get Jay Clue—street performer, singer-songwriter and the kind of guy who might just float past you on the Clarion River strumming a tune.

On this episode of Off the Record with Sharon Stewart, Jay shares his journey from back porch jams to bars, festivals, and yes, the occasional sidewalk. We talk hands-and-feet musicianship, the meaning behind his music and why sometimes the best stage… doesn’t have a stage at all.  Hit play and meet the man making music on his own terms.

A garage, a grassroots movement, and a genre-bending rock band from Clarion. In this episode of Off The Record, Sharon Stewart sits down with BarageFest founder Eric Lemon and team member Ian Wuldov to talk about how a DIY party turned into one of the region’s most buzzworthy music festivals.

Plus, a spotlight on The Keep It Downs — the psychedelic rock band lighting up the Barage stage this year. With original music that fuses blues, funk, folk, and metal, they’re loud, local, and unapologetically fun.

New music, festival stories, and a track called “The Underground.” It’s all right here — and it’s all Off The Record.
