Off The Road Again

Chris welcomes Derek & Jena Newman of Newman's Dog Training to the show. Jena & Derek have been living van life for the last couple of years and went full-time van life in 2020. They have explored quite a lot of the United States and Baja. The Newmans share some of what they had wished they had known before they started living in their van. Also discussed at length in this episode is Barry the Adventure Dog!

Chris welcomes Jeff Glucker of Hooniverse & AutoTrader to the show. Jeff is working on installing a Go Fast Campers Superlite rooftop tent on his Mitsubishi Montero. Jeff also attended the Ozark Overland Adventure with the Express Rally team in Arkansas. Chris attended Overland Expo Mountain West in Loveland, CO. Jeff and Chris discussed the Go Fast Camper collaboration with Ford and the Maverick as well. Also discussed is an East Coast downhill mountain bike park.

Ross and Chris welcome Robby DeGraff of AutoPacific back to the show. Robby is an industry analyst for AutoPacific and spent time with the all-new Lexus LX 600, the Toyota Sequoia, the GR Corolla Morizo, Mazda CX-50, Subaru Forester Wilderness, and so much more!

Ross and Chris welcome Chuck Brazer, race director of HooptieX, to the show. Chuck runs the off-road racing division of the Gambler 500. Think of rallycross courses on steroids with elevation changes. Almost shitbox supercross, but better. 

Ross and Chris welcome Emme Hall back to the show. She has spent time with an Audi racecar built for Dakar. She competed in the first Rally Jameel held in Saudi Arabia. Emme owns a lifted Miata called Buddy and now has a Baja Bug desert race vehicle. Also discussed were the Volkswagen Golf R and its infotainment/button woes, Ross' "classic" plates for his 1999 Miata, and Chris figured out what ruined his front tires. 

Ross and Chris welcome Ben & Nate of 4x4ward to the show. They run a website that features numerous stickers, hats, shirts, and more automotive ephemera. Nate has a Mitsubishi Delica. Ben has a Ram Tradesman, Supra, Civic, Samurai, and a Mitsubishi Montero. Probably more too, that we forgot. 4x4ward is about camping like you give a shit.

Ross and Chris discuss Overland Expo West. Ross bought a 1999 Miata. Chris attended Expo West and then went on an epic road trip through Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado. 

Ross and Chris welcome Micah Muzio to the show. Micah owns a Ford Bronco and a Robinson R44 Helicopter. Micah reviews cars for his YouTube channel with his wife and daughter and also for Kelley Blue Book. Micah recently has been exploring heli-camping and using his Bronco for more off-road shenanigans. 

Ross and Chris welcome Caleb Wallace to the show. Caleb works at Adventure Imports and has a rad, Mitsubishi Montero. He grew up in the Pacific Northwest, and his family has a WW2-era Willys Jeep. Ross experienced the Land Rover Defender V8; Chris is fully immersed in van life and little league.
