Wow, where did the month of October go?  We are into November and it's time for our look of what came "OFF THE SHELF" at the Susquehanna County Free Library during the month of October 2020.  We hope you enjoy our update and knowing what the top authors are from the 5,993 books that were checked out last month!

With Halloween just a few days away, we thought it might be nice to record a short story that came OFF THE SHELF, for the holiday.  Edgar Allan Poe published this in 1843, and it's reported that he was only paid about $10.00 for the story.  Now, almost 200 years later, it is considered one of his best short stories.  We hope you enjoy and we would enjoy hearing from you with comments about our podcasts.  Good reading!
