Whats going on? Today we sat down to discuss the Taliban who are sitting on $1 trillion worth of minerals the world desperately needs. We discuss the mounting tension that is the Taliban in Full Control of Afghanistan. The Taliban met with gunfire the first political protests they faced after seizing power in Afghanistan, killing at least two people and injuring several others as they dispersed demonstrators who waved the flag of the fallen Afghan republic. How this is really happening is beyond anything anyone could have written. Twitter says Taliban can stay on platform if they obey rules. WTF The Rules?? Taliban PR team is working overtime. A female presenter interviewed a Taliban official on an Afghan television station. It was a starkly different image from the scene on the ground in Kabul, where women remained at home, fearful for their lives and their futures under Taliban rule. Every photo and every data point is a link to the old way of life in Afghanistan – and a reason for Taliban retribution. No one is keeping there former self online for the Taliban to see. This has left millions of Afghans facing a stark choice: to what extent should they erase any evidence of their past lives? President Biden suggested for the first time that he's willing to keep US forces in Afghanistan until all American citizens who want to leave are out of the country, but stopped short of making the same commitment to the United States' Afghan partners. We discuss Maryland and Virginia welcoming Afghanistan refugees and what that would mean for us. Afghan ambassador in Tajikistan says President Ashraf Ghani escaped with $169m worth of cash in bags before Kabul fell to the Taliban, BBC reports. He took that money knowing the country would fall into the Taliban's hands. We discuss Barcelona's president, Joan Laporta, whose opened up on the club's financial situation.
